Added new features for the 2nd Generation Intel® Core™ processor family (codenamed Sandy Bridge):
- VC1 decoding
- H.264 encoding (with libva snb-encoder branch see vaapi)
- power saving
- performance improvement (with mesa master)

known issues

- TODO:

Sandy Bridge: Frame Buffer Compression doesn't always repaint on some machines: bug#33487.
Sandy Bridge: suspend-resume hang on some desktop machines: bug#35462.

- support discontinued:

XvMC is disabled on 915G/GM for KMS: bug#23012.
CH7xxxx DVO TV-out not supported (Chrontel specs are open so anyone could write the driver): bug#12882.
Textured video is not available on i8xx.
